History

Owner Allen Rhodes first entered the electronics field in 1983, and worked for six years in the Charleston, West Virginia area. Because his family is based in Randolph county, Rhodes took the opportunity to relocate to that area in 1989.
After being employed as a service manager of a Clarksburg-based company, Rhodes established Valley Business Systems in 1991, with nothing more than a toolbox, a phone, and a truck. Today, Rhodes employs five people, including office manager Barbara Cook, and sales/service technicians Ted Johnson, Don Gilroy, Bill Casella, and Brandon Rarick. Today, Valley Business Systems features the largest showroom and service department in the Elkins, West Virginia area.

Full-line Sharp Dealer

Valley Business Systems has been a full-line authorized Sharp dealer since 1996, offering everything from small, personal copiers to 80-copy-per-minute, networked, multi-functional systems that can copy, print, scan, and fax. We specialize in Sharp & Hewlett-Packard sales and repair, but will also attempt to repair all other copiers. Valley Business Systems offers new supplies and less expensive, re-manufactured cartridges that are made here in Elkins using only factory supplies.
